Seth L. Goldstein has acted as trial counsel, second-chair counsel, and a trial consultant for the last 30 years in matters where sexual abuse is alleged. Previously he was the Project Director for the Child Abuse Vertical Prosecution Unit of the Napa County District Attorney, an investigator with the Santa Clara County District Attorney, and was a police officer in Berkeley. He now represents litigants in Family Law, Juvenile, and Personal Injury matters wherein child abuse allegations have arisen.
He has presented throughout the USA and beyond, lecturing for the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, CJER, the University of Southern California, Stanford and Harvard Universities, and the FBI Academy, and other organizations.
He is the author of The Sexual Exploitation of Children: A Practical Guide to Assessment, Investigation, and Intervention, 2nd Edition, and written several articles on the subject of sexual abuse of children in custody matters. He has received numerous awards for this work, including recognition by the ABA for “Significant Legal Contributions Advancing the Welfare of Children”.
He has testified as an expert witness on sexual abuse matters. |
