Hon. Anne Kiley is a Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court, assigned to the family law division at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. Prior to being appointed as a judicial officer, Judge Kiley was a Certified Family Law Specialist, Certified by the State Bar of California, and a partner of and head of the family law department at Elkins Kalt in Century City. Judge Kiley graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with honors, and received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School. Judge Kiley was an Associate Editor of the University of Michigan Law School Law Review, and was made a member of the Michigan Chapter of the Order of the Coif. Judge Kiley has been an adjunct professor of law at the University of Southern California Gould Law School, where she taught Family Law and Community Property courses. Judge Kiley serves as Program Director for CFLR and as such teaches multiple courses, including the annual Family Law Refresher Course, the Advanced Family Law Course and trial advocacy programs. |

Jaye-Jo Portanova, M.D. is an experienced adult and child psychiatrist specializing in attorney/client consultation, mediation, collaborative law, individual coaching, and co-parent coaching. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she did her internship in pediatrics. She continued at UCLA as a resident studying adult psychiatry and then completed a fellowship at UCLA in child psychiatry. She is board-certified in both adult and child psychiatry. Dr. Portanova practices collaborative law as a divorce and child specialist coach with A Better Divorce, Collaborative Practice of California, Collaborative Divorce Solutions of Orange County, and Collaborative Practice San Diego. Additionally, she mediates divorce cases, coaches parents, and consults with attorneys and their clients. Previously she was the medical director at Del Amo Hospital, a psychiatric hospital in Torrance, was selected by Los Angeles Superior Court Judges to serve on the Downtown Los Angeles Psychiatric Custody Evaluation Panel, has performed numerous child custody evaluations, and was a parent plan coordinator for high-conflict custody issues. In addition to her clinical practice, she participates as a mediation trainer and speaks at continuing education seminars. Dr. Portanova has been practicing for over 37 years. Her extensive training and experience with parents and children provide her with unique skills to facilitate families through this difficult and stressful time. |
Hon. Jessica Kronstadt received her B.A. from Yale University, where she was a member of the Varsity Women’s Volleyball Team. She received her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where she received a Distinguished Young Alumni Award. After graduating from law school, Judge Kronstadt worked as a litigation associate at Latham & Watkins and as a staff attorney at Bet Tzedek Legal Services. Judge Kronstadt then served as a Deputy District Attorney at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, where she prosecuted domestic violence and child sexual abuse matters. Judge Kronstadt was appointed to the bench in March 2023 and is currently assigned to the Family Law Division of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Recently, Judge Kronstadt was selected by Assembly Member Jacqui Irwin as a Woman of The Year for the 42nd Assembly District. She was also recently recognized by the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) as one of its Jewish American Heritage Month honorees.
Judge Kronstadt is a Past President and current Board of Governors Member of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles. She currently serves as the judicial liaison for LACBA’s Family Law Executive Committee and as a member of LACBA’s President’s Advisory Committee on Women in the Legal Profession. As an attorney, Judge Kronstadt was recognized as a “Top 40 Under 40” lawyer by the Daily Journal and as a “Southern California Rising Star” in Public Interest by Super Lawyers™. She has also been recognized by LACBA as one of its Women’s History Month honorees. Judge Kronstadt was honored by the Jewish Free Loan Association as a “Wonder Woman.”
Judge Kronstadt has run in and successfully completed five marathons and five half-marathons. She is a devoted member of the Peloton® community. |
