Hon. Anne Kiley is a Judge of the Los Angeles Superior Court, assigned to the family law division at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse. Prior to being appointed as a judicial officer, Judge Kiley was a Certified Family Law Specialist, Certified by the State Bar of California, and a partner of and head of the family law department at Elkins Kalt in Century City. Judge Kiley graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with honors, and received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School. Judge Kiley was an Associate Editor of the University of Michigan Law School Law Review, and was made a member of the Michigan Chapter of the Order of the Coif. Judge Kiley has been an adjunct professor of law at the University of Southern California Gould Law School, where she taught Family Law and Community Property courses. Judge Kiley serves as Program Director for CFLR and as such teaches multiple courses, including the annual Family Law Refresher Course, the Advanced Family Law Course and trial advocacy programs. |

Stephen D. Hamilton, CFLS, has been an attorney for 25 years, with a practice in San Luis Obispo County devoted almost exclusively to family law for 23 years. He is a Certified Specialist in Family Law and a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He is also a past Chair of the Family Law Executive Committee of the California Lawyers Association (FLEXCOM) and past Chair of the San Luis Obispo County Family Law Section. Stephen is a published author in the field of family law and a Multi-Activity Provider authorized by the State of California to provide continuing legal education. |
Adrian Martinez is a partner at Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves and Savitch, LLP, and a member of its Litigation Team. He graduated at the top of his class from law school at Universidad Anáhuac del Sur in Mexico City in 1999. He is licensed to practice law in Mexico and California. From 2014 to 2022, he taught civil procedure and civil motions in the L.L.M. program for Latin American litigators at California Western School of Law.
Adrian advises and represents clients in business litigation matters and family law disputes, with an emphasis on cross-border litigation. In family disputes, Adrian represents clients in actions for termination of marital status, custody, support, and enforcement of foreign custody orders. He also represents clients in disputes related to the enforcement of the separate property regime (in Spanish, “regimen de separación de bienes”).
Adrian also represents clients in litigation arising out of business relationships, as well as disputes involving business torts, contractual disputes, and enforcement of foreign money judgments.
Adrian represents clients, and is consulted by other attorneys, on complex jurisdictional and forum non conveniens issues. Adrian has served as an expert witness in state and district court on issues pertaining to Mexico’s civil and procedural law and serves as a legal consultant for the Mexican Consulate. He was an adjunct professor at California Western School of Law. |
